Vista Tower – 363 E. Upper Wacker Drive
Having broke ground in 2016, Vista Tower is highly anticipated. The tower boasts dramatic views & curated interiors. The tower will offer 396 condos ranging from $1 million to $18 million. It currently has the title of being the 3rd largest tower in Chicago, sitting 1,191 feet.
Move ins begin summer 2020 so be on the lookout!

1000M – 1000 S. Michigan Avenue
Located on 1000 S. Michigan Avenue, ground has broken on this 74-story tower. The developers behind this mega project consist of Time Equities, Oak Capital & JK Equities. Once completed 1000M will be the 17th tallest skyscraper in Chicago. Vista Tower and One Chicago will surpass 1000M in height, or else it would be the 15th tallest building.
Amenities include a sundeck, steam room, sky terrace, fire pit, private dining, and more! Residential units will include breathtaking views of the city with a light-filled kitchen.
Estimated Completion: End of 2022 – Beginning of 2023.
One Chicago – 1 W. Chicago
A new condo/apartment high-rise developed by JDL Development, One Chicago will consist of 812 units and two towers, with the tallest being 78 stories and 969 feet. The project also boasts a whole foods market, event space, Lifetime Athletic Club, and 865 parking spaces for cars.
Estimated Completion: 2022
Belmont Bypass – 1002 W. Roscoe
CTAs red and purple line modernization program is currently underway. The cost of the project comes out to $2.1 billion. Belmont is intended to substitute the congested junction where purple, brown, and red lines meet. The rest of CTAs program should be completed by 2025, making public transportation smoother for riders.
Estimated Completion: 2021 (For this portion of the modernization program-the rest will be finished by 2025)
Union Station Tower – 310 S. Canal
A development many are looking forward to, Union Station Tower broke ground to the south of union station on a previously empty parking garage.
This office skyscraper will be 1.5 million square feet and consist of 50 stories. A 1.5-acre park that will be open to the public will sit above a parking structure meant to hold 400 cars. The developers behind this mega project is: Riverside Investment & Development, Convexity Properties, and architecture firm Goettsch Partners.
Estimated Completion: January 2022
O’Hare International Airport - 10000 W O'Hare Ave
O’Hare is one known to be one of the largest airports in the country. It’s about to get even bigger! This $1.2 billion project will grow terminal 5 by 350,000 square feet! New additions include ten new gates, security lanes, passenger amenities and a better baggage handling system.
More development will be done on terminal 5 that will include a new bridge for individuals on foot, a new parking garage, and more!
O’Hare is considered the nations busiest airport and is at the center of air transportation.

South Bridge – 2310 S. State Street
Work has finally started on this multi-phase redevelopment called SouthBridge. This project will sit where the last public housing building, known as Ickes Homes, resided on Chicago’s Near South Side. It’s been 10 years since the demolition that has left 13 acres vacant for the longest.
After five years of planning, the fruition of this development is only a year out. The first phase will consist of six-story buildings that will house 206 mixed-income units. Phases after that will add on to the number of units making the total number a little under 900 residential units.
